With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ernie Gummer (Collingwood, Ontario), who passed away on January 3, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Gummer and Gwendolyn; his stepmother Gerty; his sister Jean Bremner; and his mother-in-law Berniece Scotney.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sharon (Alan Palmer) and Linda (Alex Padovan); his siblings, Edith McNabb (late Jim McNabb) of Collingwood, Rose Laws (late Dennis Paterson), Betty Micks of Stayner, Doug, Phyll, Dawson, Dan, John, Bill, Ray, Joey, Peg, Doc, Walter and Sis (Gord); his friends, Gary, Woody and Mason; and also McNichol.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ernie's name can be made to a local charity of choice.
