He was predeceased by: his brothers, Ray and Gord. He is survived by: his wife Mary Beth; his children, Dawn (Steve Redman), Kris (Mark Stadig), Steven (Theressa) and Stacey (Greg Caines); his grandchildren, Alex, Brent, Nathan, Ben, Erin, Andrew, Laura and Constance; and his sisters, Beverley and Nancy.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fawcett Funeral Homes - Collingwood Chapel (82 Pine St, Collingwood, ON L9Y2N7). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Church (28 Tracey Ln, Collingwood, ON L9Y3Z1).
