She was predeceased by: her husband Gareth "Gar" Davies; her parents, Ed Schwertfeger and Betty Schwertfeger; her sisters, Lou Ann Jacqua and Sandra Ansted; and her brother-in-law Gwyn Davies.

She is survived by: her daughters, Doreen Schwartze (Andy) and Lorraine Bremner (Tim); her grandchildren, Jayne, Gareth and Connor; her siblings, Bob Schwertfeger (Anne) and Ginger Steer (Jerry); her mother-in-law Ruth Davies; and her siblings-in-law, Susan Davies, Rhys Davies, Pat Pierce (Rose) and Burns Pierce (Terri). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children.
