He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara and Harry; his brother Doug; and his sister-in-law Sandy (John Walker). He is survived by: his sister-in-law Pat; his children, Margaret Ann (Ken), Geoffrey (Karen) and Sarah (David); his grandchildren, Matthew (Lauren), Jason Schaap, Hayley, Trevor, Abbey, Curtis Boothe, Thomas (Brittany) and Katie Tawaststjerna; and his great grandchild Joey Schaap.
