He was predeceased by: his parents, Velma Rankin and Charlie Rankin of Jarrett; his siblings, John, Leona Silk, Jim, Archie, Margaret Ann and Howard; and his brothers-in-law, Art Woodrow and Bill Brown.
He is survived by: his close friend Debbie Hamilton; his son Jim Rankin (Melissa Laughlin) of Coldwater; his siblings, Betty Finan (Denis), Linda Woodrow, George Rankin (Judy), Patsy Brown, Sandra Vivian (Val) and Barbara Jermey (Peter); and his siblings-in-law, Howard Silk and Marlene Rankin.
As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of Charlie may be made to the War Amps or to the Orangeville Junior A Northman Lacrosse Team and may be made through the funeral home.
