He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jennifer Coombs; his children, Sarah Desroches (Jesse) and Adam Coombs (Ann Prince); his grandchildren, Fletcher, Jasper, Giorgia and Catherine; his parents, Anne Coombs and Fred Coombs; and his siblings, Bryan Coombs (April), Diane Laughlin and Kim Robb.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Dickie may be made to the Canadian Liver Foundation and may be made through the funeral home.
