He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack and Gloria; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Dale; his children, Matthew and Shannon (Rob); his grandsons, Hayden and Geordie; his pet Ray; his siblings, Marlene (Pat), Patrick, Cheryl (Peter) and Kirk; and his sister-in-law Bonnie. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy donations in memory of John may be made to the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, Barrie or to the charity of your choice and may be made through the funeral home.
