She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Wilfried Scheffel; her children, Carsten (Donna) and Brian (Isabelle); her grandchildren, Lyndsey (Bruce), Lauren (Mike), William, Derek, Jacqui (Steve), Danika and Christina; and her great grandchildren, Emma, Evan, Adelynn and Axel.

Because of COVID-19, a celebration of Hilde's life will be held for family and friends at a later date and will be announced.
