She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Abbott and Ellen Abbott; and her brothers, Ernie, Morley, Mervin and Orville.

She is survived by: her children, Deborah Oakley Kaufman (late Rick) and James Oakley (Wendy); her grandchildren, Christopher (Leah Long), Jonathan (Melissa) and Emily Oakley (John Ruston); her great grandchildren, Carter Oakley, Hunter Boys and Sienna Oakley; and her close friend Diane Sauve. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
