She was predeceased by: her husband Josl; and her siblings, Dorothea and Adolf. She is survived by: her sons, Robert and Andre; her sister Rosa; her nieces, Gabi and Rosa-Anna; and her grandchildren, Nicholas, Jacob, Lukas and Charley Grace.

A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 1:00 PM at 24 Mt St Louis Rd W, Moonstone, ON L0K1E0.

In lieu of flowers, and as an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Elfriede may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or to The Covenant House, Toronto and may be made through the Funeral Home.

“Condolences to Robert, Andre and family. It is a sad farewell to a special lady who was on top of the business. Josl and Elfriede became clients of mine in 1969 and we had a great relationship for many years. Never one to back down if she knew what would make the ski resort bigger and better for people to enjoy. Elfriede was on the job long after the last skier was gone home each and every day. Elfriede rest in peace. Larry Jones”
