Christine Joan Shaw Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christine Joan Shaw (Coldwater, Ontario), who passed away on April 16, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Christine Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Christine Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Ainsley and Joan Ainsley. She is survived by: her husband Fred Shaw; her children, Jody (Ryan) and Mark (Gennine); her grandsons, Derek and Ethan; her sister Susan Hollingshead (Rick); and her pet Lucy.

As an expression of sympathy, donations in memory of Christine may be made to the ALS Society of Canada or to the Matchedash Community Heritage Centre and may be made through the Funeral Home.
