He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son-in-law Marcel; his great grandchildren, Emelia, Ella, Fletcher and Jasper; his spouse Fay; his children, Lynda Desmarais (Marcel) of Ridgeway and Reece (Cyndy Fournier) of Oshawa; his siblings-in-law, Lillian Speers, Martha James, Tony Forbes, Geraldine, Lloyd (Joyce), Joyce (Clare), Pearl (Tom), Raymond and Allan; and his father Grampa.
Due to the COVID - 19 restrictions, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
