He was predeceased by: his wife Carol; his parents, Ewen and Maisie; and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his child Carol-Lee (Mike Konert); his granddaughter Kayla; and his sisters, Joanne Cook and Linda (Mike Graham). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews and friends.

Memorial remembrances to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Port Cares or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
