He was predeceased by: his spouse Beryl; and his brothers, Bob, Gord, Jack and Harvey.

He is survived by: his daughters, Cathy Grubb (Alex) and Judy Schmidt (Dave Levin); and his grandchildren, Neil, Suzanne, Erin, Craig and Lisa. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
