He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Linda Ruiter; his children, Terri Lynn Ladd (Steve Brown), Tina Palmer (James) and Chris Ruiter (Shannon); his grandchildren, Daniel (Alexandra), Bernard Jr., Cameron, Emma and Carson; and his siblings, Linda Bates (Bill) and Donald Ruiter (Carol).
