We bid farewell to Valda Amelia Mae Mulvey (Cobourg, Ontario), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 16, 2025 at the age of 96. Valda Amelia Mae touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Valda Amelia Mae may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Valda Amelia Mae touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Mulvey; her siblings, Audrey Herrington and Roma Bee; and her parents, Henry Prettie and Carrie Prettie.

She is survived by: her sisters, Betty Ford and Mary Elliott; and her close friend Frank Donnelly. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the MacCoubrey Funeral Home Reception Centre (30 King St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1K7).
