It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Theresa Elizabeth (Burns) Ferguson (Cobourg, Ontario), who passed away on May 12, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Lynne; and her siblings, John Burns (Monica), Edward Burns (late Mary) and Kathleen McDuff (late John). She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her children, Carmel Scott (Bill), Dave (Desiree), Rodney (Angela), Robert (Susan), Sheryl Walt (Kevin) and Paul (Vicki); her grandchildren, Andrew Scott, Tyler Scott (Stephanie), Mitchell Scott, Alexandra Scott, Jamie Paolini (Joey), Kristen Ferguson, Brookelyn Ferguson, Skylar Ferguson, Spencer Ferguson, Juliana Walt, Jordan Walt, Molly Ferguson and Colin Ferguson; her great grandchild Lennox Scott; and her siblings, Mary Howard (late Jim), Alice Collins (Karl), Jim Burns (late Marion) and Fran Munro (Murray). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
