It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Oswald Montgomery (Cobourg, Ontario), who passed away on October 29, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Montgomery and Elizabeth Montgomery. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Corrigan; his stepchildren, Charles Daoust (Sabrina) and Véronique Daoust (Ahmad); his grandson Jeremy; his siblings, Jessica Montgomery (late Douglas), Jane Montgomery (Jay), Kathy Blastorah (Chris) and Ian Montgomery (Melanie); his siblings-in-law, Douglas Corrigan (Jo-Anne), Michael Corrigan, Peter Corrigan (late Carole), Hélène D'Aoust (André), David Corrigan (Natasha) and John Corrigan (Isabelle); and his godson Billy Corrigan. He is also survived by 19 nieces and nephews, his cousins, many other relatives and extended family.
In memory of Rob, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society- Pancreatic Research or the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
