He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Sage and Jennie Sage; and his siblings, Shirley Parker and Don Sage. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Hunter; his children, Jennifer Sage (Francis Tremblay) and Tony Hunter (Shawna); his grandchildren, Sophie Hunter and Taylor Hunter; and his sisters, Audrey May and Penny Tackaberry.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ed's House Northumberland Hospice Care Centre.
