He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Annabel; his stepchildren, Alan (Filomena) and Michelle (Jay); his former wife Clare; his children, Jenny (Steve), Julie (Stephen) and Rob (Roshelle); his grandchildren, Abby, Brooke, Colin, Gabriel, Jaxon, Joshua, Juno, Matthew, Melissa, Rylee and Sydney; his brother David; and his close friend Dave Cohen.

In lieu of flowers, Peter requested that donations be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
