He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jo Ann; his children, Lee-Ann (Scott), Darlene (Stacy) and Kirsten (Alex); his parents, Lina and Adolf; his sister Elisabeth (late Ewald); and his brothers-in-law, Paul (Patti) and Peter. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Hospital for SickKids Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
