He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his daughters, Carol Mercer (Ed) and Valerie Coatham (John); his grandsons, John Mercer, Geoffrey Mercer and David Coatham; his great grandchildren, Dylan and Jacob; and his brother Colin Farrand (Rosemary). He is also survived by his nieces, nephews and friends.
