We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Muriel Jean Leckey (Cobourg, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. Robert Griffiths Leckey (Bud); her son Robert; and her siblings, Gwen, Alexander and William.
She is survived by: her son Griffiths (Jane); her granddaughters, Jane Leckey and Melissa (Cole Petersen); and her sister-in-law Helen Wagenaar. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She felt a strong need to make meaningful contributions to her community, and volunteered in the Emergency Department at the Northumberland Hills Hospital until earlier this year, when COVID-19 prevented volunteer activities.
