He was predeceased by: his brother Cecil. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Doug (Andrea), Shawn (Danielle) and Maurice Jr. (Kristin); his grandchildren, Avery, Caleb, Sydney, Cassidy, Peyton and Alexis; and his sisters, Helen (late Arnold) and Diane (Art). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
If desired, donations can be made to Jumpstart and the family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to all the staff at both Extendicare and NHH who showed Maurice wonderful care and compassion in his final years when family had very limited access to him.
