She was predeceased by: her husband Jim; her parents, Ross James and Elsie James; her sister Noreen Guihot; and her siblings-in-law, Frank Guihot and Sandra James (Alan).

She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Richardson (Glen), Donald James (Elsie) and Alan James. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Marguerite has requested that memorial donations be made to the Fellowship Baptist Church in Cobourg or to ShareWord Global Canada (formerly Gideons Canada).
