He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kim Heaton (Bill) and Bill Gorman; his stepchildren, Debbie Griffin (Bill), John Blacklock (Cindy) and Stephen Blacklock; his grandchildren, Billy Heaton, Murray Heaton, Adam Blacklock (Jackie), Lynsey and Leland Blacklock; his sister Vera; his brother-in-law Clarence Ash; his niece Brenda; and his nephew-in-law Ben Ferguson.
