She was predeceased by: her father George Fitchett; and her husband Richard Immel. She is survived by: her significant other Shawn Linton; her mother Jean Fitchett; her children, Erin (Mike) and Derek; her brother Roger Fitchett (Cathy); her siblings-in-law, Jim Immel (Terry) and Bonnie Immel; her grandsons, James and George; her stepchildren, Patrick Linton (Shannon) and Chris Linton (Katie); her stepgrandchildren, William, Riley Cody and Julia; her nieces and nephews, Michelle (Jason), Nikki (Toad), Andrew (Marsha), Justin (Becca) and Jillian (Jack); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Tyler (Lise), Hart, Kamryn, Paige, Maci, Oliver and Truett.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cobourg Union Cemetery. A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the Columbus Community Centre (232 Spencer St E, Cobourg, ON K9A1C5).
