He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Hubicki and Rose Hubicki; his wife Dorothy; and his sister Jeanne Narozenski. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Fedec (Tom), Michael (Roxanne Browne), Lisa Smith (Ron) and Laura Manley (Les); his grandchildren, Hana Hubicki, Cole Mellows and Christian Mellows; his sister Anne Gomez; and his daughter-in-law Tina Hubicki. He is also survived by his five nieces.
John was also very active in the Cobourg community and over the years made contributions to the YMCA, Northumberland Hills Hospital, the Library, Cobourg Community Centre and other organizations.
