He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Winter; his son Lloyd Stanley Winter; his grandsons, Frank Schaedlich and Kevin Schaedlich; and his siblings, Edna Beatty, Helen Denny, Harold, Ken, Art and Jim Winter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Anne Schaedlich (Godfrey Jenkins), Evelyn Kerkhoven (Cornelis) and Barbara Marian (Glenn); his grandchildren, Paul Schaedlich (Chandra), Carla Chisholm (Michael), Adam Marian and Clayton Marian; his great grandchildren, Klarissa, Kaiden, Landen, Braeden, Austin, Declan and Camden; and his siblings, Arnold and Dorothy Ward.
With COVID restrictions all guests must wear masks, sign in for contact tracing, maintain a 2 m distance zone, and obey room restrictions for 40 people at a time.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Northumberland Hills Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
