He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Harrison; his stepdaughters, Janet Turner and Nancy Turner; and his brother Harry. He is survived by: his child Tracy Vanlaere; his stepchildren, Stephen Turner (Anne), Kim Turner (Doug), Lisa Olson (John) and Christine Scott (Peter); and his grandchildren, Kristi (Teves) and Karli Vanlaere. He is also survived by eight step-grandchildren and three great step-grandchildren.
