He is survived by: his brother-in-law Ron Smith (June); and his nieces and nephews, Gary West (Julie Ann), Judi Peers (Dave), John West (Kathy), Jim West (Jamie), Ray West (Kelly), Robert Gordon West (Joanne), David West (Angelica), Joanne Smith-Fleisher (Gabriel), Greg Smith (Danielle), Michelle Labatte (Ron) and Cheryl Chapin (late Don).
