Gertrude McCabe Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude McCabe (Cobourg, Ontario), who passed away on December 12, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Stanley G. McCabe; her sons, Alexander McCabe, John McCabe and Gordon McCabe (Jill); her parents, Wilmot Horner and Caroline Horner; her siblings, Jack Horner (Ruth) and Judy Lees; and her parents-in-law, Helen Horner, Jack Rupert, Archie Rupert, Margaret McCabe and John McCabe (Jean).

She is survived by: her children, Dawne McCabe, Sylvia Godfrey (Robbin), Beverly Clarke (Dan) and Dianna Johnson (late Bret); her grandchildren, Saraha (Devon), Casey (Joanna), Chase (Colleen), Sylvia (Mike), Dana (Ashley), Travis (Taryn), Alana, Jacob (Justine) and Drakeob; her great grandchildren, Dawson, Deklan, Ethen, Graeme, Riley, Cameron, Grace, Ryan, Oliver, Bodhi, Jacob, Ella and Avery; and her siblings, Marilyn Rupert, Lorne Horner (Jean), Gordon Horner, Evelyn Rupert and Grant Lees. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
