He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Cheryl Beck. He is survived by: his wife Donna Sprague; his children, Kirk Sprague (Debora) and Erica Naccarato (Mike); his grandchildren, David (Andrea), Zachary (Lucas), Julianna (Sean) and Eric; his great grandchild Aaralynn; his brother Dr. William Sprague (Geraldine); and his sisters-in-law, Marilyn Anthony (Sterling), Jacqueline Whynott (Faron) and Sandra Chisholm. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations in memory of Stewart to be provided to Ed's House – Northumberland Hospice or The Cornerstone Family Violence Prevention Centre, Cobourg, Ontario.
