He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife June Barkhouse; his sons, Brian Barkhouse (Sandy), Stephen Barkhouse (Denise) and David Barkhouse; and his grandchildren, Chris, James and Courtney. He was also cherished by 4 great grandchildren.
