She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Buttar; her son John Buttar; and her siblings, Herb Elliston, Eva Mason, Marion Milam and Violet Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Ralph Buttar (Susan), Rick Buttar (Millie), Rhonda Eagles (Brent), Renna Buttar and Ryan Buttar (Dorothy); and her grandchildren, Dan (Melissa), Michelle (Jonathan), Amanda (Eric), Jenny (Tyler), Graham (Marianne), Gordon (Barbie), Bambi, Starr and Kris. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
