She was predeceased by: her husband Roy Hempstead. She is survived by: her sons, David (Christine) and Michael (Carolyn); her grandsons, Daniel, Bryan (Katrina) and Andrew; her great grandchildren, Lucia and Nolan; her stepgrandsons, Michael Redwood (Cassandra) and David Redwood (Virginia); and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Damon, Colin, Rachel and Julia.
Due to covid restrictions a private family service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St E, Cobourg, on Saturday May 8th, 2021 at 1:00 p. m. followed by interment at Cobourg Union Cemetery.
