She was predeceased by: her sister Ada; and her parents, Jessie Mitchell and Charlotte Mitchell. She is survived by: her child Francis Hay (Deborah); her grandsons, Jason Hay (Jenn) and Sheldon Hay (Kat); her great grandchildren, Jagur, Isiah and Jaxon Hay; and her siblings, Marwood Mitchell, Hazel, Ruby, Delbert, Evelin, Ross and Clara.
