He was predeceased by: his son Brian. He is survived by: his significant other Shirley; his daughters, Donna Schmitt (Michael) and Cheryl Mouncey (Roger Armstrong); his grandchildren, Erik Schmitt (Camille Giffin), Julia Poyntz (Blair) and Jaslyn Mouncey Park; and his great grandchildren, Mya, Nolan Poyntz, Madeleine and Phoebe Schmitt.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donald Mouncey would be appreciated by the family, supporting Dr. Tirone David's Research in Cardiovascular Surgery, at UHN Foundation.
