He was predeceased by: his godchild Bobbly Collard. He is survived by: his wife Laureen; his daughters, Colleen Fairholme (James) and Heather Stratford (Andrew); his siblings, Peter Slade (Sharon), Wendy Stirling (Gary) and Pam Gilroy (Wayne); his grandchildren, Emily Stratford Bolduc (Philippe), Charles Fairholme (Victoria), Nicholas Stratford (Laura), Sarah Stratford and Jackson Stratford; his great grandchild Navene Fairholme; his nieces and nephews, Christopher Slade, Stephanie Slade, Jaqueline Stirling, Carolyn Stirling, Mathew Theal, Phil Gilroy and Stacey Gilroy; and his godchildren, Kim Burke, Sheri Hildebrant Robert, Laura Vanderlip and Jessica Slade. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
