He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon and Edith; and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Donald (Tracey), James (Lynn) and Carolyn (Debbie); his grandchildren, Andrew (Victoria), Emily and Laura; his brother Doug (Sue); and his in-laws, Grace Broomfield, Norman Thornton, Ella Merlin, Ken, Edna Waldie, Joe and Gladys Bailey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
