He was predeceased by: his parents, William Downes and Marjorie Downes; and his sister Arlene (Robert Bowins). He is survived by: his wife Audrey Downes; his children, Kerri and Stephen; his grandchildren, Brandon and Ashlee Robinson; his sister Sandra (Gord Fitzpatrick); and his siblings-in-law, Glen Powell (Ruby), Jim Powell (Jean), Murray Powell (Donna), Bill Powell (Elaine), Brenda (Earl Liscombe), June (Gord Foster) and Carol (Larry Greer). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
During COVID-19, visitations are conducted on a schedule, by appointment only.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to Faith Tabernacle Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
