She was predeceased by: her spouse Gordon Hawthorne; and her son Glen Hawthorne (Jan). She is survived by: her children, Helen Spencer (Gary) and Kenneth Hawthorne (Donna); her grandchildren, Erin (Geoff), Brian, Sharon (Alex), Heather, Dana (Chris) and Steven (Carla); her great grandchildren, Hannah, Caitlin and Callie; her siblings, Annie Taylor, Clair Huckabone, Linda Kohlsmith (Gerry), Millar Bennett and Carson Bennet (Nora); and her siblings-in-law, Edna (Ray Watchorn) and Glen Byce.
