He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ferguson and Viola Ferguson; and his siblings, Marjorie Anderson (Don), Betty Armstrong (Bill), June Edgerton (Ben), Keith Ferguson, Eldon Ferguson and Elwood Ferguson (Maureen).

He is survived by: his wife Alice Ferguson; his children, Bruce Ferguson (Laurie), Karen Brenner (Dave), Gayle Bishop (Dave) and Glenn Ferguson (Laurie); his grandchildren, Justin Brenner (Julie), Jennifer Brenner, Katie Ferguson (Patrick), Ryan Ferguson (Shay), Emily Hoelke (Tyler), Andrea Bishop (Scott), Bria Ferguson (Jason), John Ferguson (Jocelyn), Cassie Brenner (Ryan), Hailie, Danika Brenner, Lauren, Patrick, Jack Hoelke and Rory Ferguson; and his siblings-in-law, Gilbert Maxwell, Heather Maxwell, Lucille Ferguson and Irene Nichol. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
