He was predeceased by: his wife Grace Rook; and his family Ray Vanderwal. He is survived by: his family, Riek Rook (late Cor), Dirk Rook (late Gertie), Dirk Zomer (late Harriet), Coba, Henry Rook (Cora) and Harm Rook (Elizabeth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
