He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Markus; his children, Mary Kathryn Giles (Gordon), James David Markus, John Christopher Markus and Virginia Louise Walsh (Greg); his grandchildren, Jennifer, Bill, Ryan (Kelly), Angela (Steve), Bryan (Anya), Keith, Matthew, Allan (Trudy), Cynthia (Steve) and Brian (Kristy); his siblings, Beatrice Sullivan (late Melvin), Eva Denomme (late Bill), Marjorie Thom (late Wilfred) and Myrtle Bessie June; his sibling-in-law Frances O'Brien; and his parent Rosella Louella Markus. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
