He is survived by: his wife Nell Rooney; his children, Mitchell Rooney (Wendy), Scott Rooney (Tamara), Shannon Rooney, Peck (Leroy) and Abbey Rooney; his grandchildren, Tyler, Crystal, Jada and Cooper; his great grandchild Addilynn; his brother Lawson Rooney; his brother-in-law Ted Van Leyen; and his pet Sammy.
