She was predeceased by: her husband Murray Spence; her former husband John Bennett; her parents, John Pettigrew and Ada Pettigrew; her son Terry Bennett (Karen); and her sister Elsie (late Ellard Ross).
She is survived by: her children, Larry Bennett (Grace), Bruce Bennett, Jack Bennett (Patti Ann), Brenda Byce and Ross Spence (Darlene); and her siblings-in-law, Angie Bennett (late Ray), Shirley Vincent (late Reggie), Harold Daber (late Evelyn) and Wilf Smith (late Rita). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
