He was predeceased by: his grandchildren, Bronwyn and Michael; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his spouse Doris Gemmill; his children, David Gemmill (Susan) and Mark Gemmill (Melissa); his grandchildren, Matthew (Erin), Jennifer (David), Kathleen and Joe (Janice); his siblings, Isabelle Dunlop and Wally Ray (Muriel); and also Johnson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
