He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Stewart and Olive Stewart; his wife Judy (Crozier); his former wife Margaret McLeod; his children, Laurie Ferguson (Glenn), Donald (Nancy), Diane Rantz and Warren (Kara); his stepchildren, Joel (Kamila) and Jayme Helmer (Casey); his sisters, Nora Steed (Brian) and Phyllis Stewart; his mother-in-law Aileen Crozier (Glen); his siblings-in-law, Chris Crozier (Cheryl), Lois McLeod (Graham), Daphne Barron (Ted) and Donald McLeod (Peggy); and his grandchildren, Bria (Jay), John Ferguson (Jocelyn), Colin, Caley McBain, Lucas Rantz, Chase, Cole, Austin Stewart, Adalyn and Grady Helmer.
As per Dave's request, cremation will take place and burial of his ashes at a later date.The family requests donations in Dave's memory be made to Miramichi Lodge of Pembroke or Hospice of Renfrew.
