He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Huckabone and Susan Huckabone; his son Donald; and his grandson Brandon. He is survived by: his partner Dale Manion (Guyea); his children, Dianne (Joe Friske), Darrell (Josée Lachance) and Dennis (Julie); his stepson Shannon Manion (Melanie Clemmer); his grandchildren, Jordyn (Steve Bertram), Samantha (Ben Karek), Joseph, Kelsea (Travis Madore), Katie (Jon Street), James, Ben, Rachel, Georgia and Holleigh; his great grandchildren, Ryan, Maverick, Wylie, Bailey, Oliver and Matilda; and his brothers, Mel (Denise), Ken (Lois) and Allan (Paulette). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Fraser-Morris and Heubner Funeral Home (5 Crawford St, Cobden, ON K0J1K0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave's memory may be made to Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation.
